Peach Gummies is what happens when a grape-heavy purple cut meets one of Grounded Genetics’ most reliable fruit donors. The mother is a selected Candy Matterz, a Purple Urkle x Candy Fumez keeper chosen from a pheno hunt, and the father is the breeder’s reversed Peach Guava.
According to Grounded Genetics, the Candy Matterz mother produced rock-hard, golf-ball-sized purple nuggets coated in a silvery layer of large resin heads, with deep dark coloration and an unmistakable grape nose straight from her Urkle side. Those are exactly the traits a buyer hopes to see carried into the seeds.
Bring in Peach Guava, and the profile shifts toward peach candy, grape soda and fizzy confectionery, with heavy resin output that makes this line equally interesting for flower jars and for solventless work.
The Breeding Story Behind Peach Gummies
Purple Urkle is an old-school purple cut known for its grape and berry aroma and dark hues, while Candy Fumez adds a sweeter, modern candy edge. Grounded Genetics hunted that cross and kept the female that most convincingly combined Urkle color and grape terps with dense structure and large-headed trichomes.
Peach Guava is one of Grounded Genetics’ cornerstone pollen donors. It descends from Peach Limeade (Pink Limez x Taco Colada) and Key Lime Guava (Rainbow Guava x TMZ), and the breeder originally kept it for its washing potential and heavy glandular head production. In Peach Gummies it layers soft peach and tropical sweetness over the grape base and reinforces resin production.
Flavor, Bag Appeal and Expected Effect
Expect the first impression to be sugary grape soda and gummy candy, with ripe peach rolling in behind it and a fizzy, almost sherbet-like brightness on the exhale. Phenotypes that lean toward the mother should show darker color and heavier grape, while Peach Guava-leaning plants tend to push the fruit-candy side.
Grounded Genetics publishes no THC figure, but the lineage points toward a potent hybrid. Given the Urkle influence, expect the effect to lean toward a calm, mellow body feel with a good-humored, relaxed mood, which suits evenings and slower days. Individual phenotypes will vary.
Look for compact, chunky flowers with strong frost. The breeder describes the line as a standout for both flower and hash, so keep an eye out for keepers in both directions.
