Blue Gelato 41 is Barney’s Farm’s Blueberry super-cross with a West Coast twist. Built from Blueberry, Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and Sunset Sherbert, this 60% Indica / 40% Sativa feminized hybrid reaches 28% THC.

Many phenotypes turn blue and purple in late flower, with buds smeared in thick resin. Despite the indica lean and the dessert aromas, the effect is surprisingly clear-headed and energetic.

It is a serious producer. Indoors, plants reach 110–150 cm (43–59 in) and yield 700–800 g/m² (2.29–2.62 oz/ft²). Outdoors, they grow to 150–200 cm (59–79 in) and can return 2500–3000 g/plant (88.2–105.8 oz/plant).

Lineage: Blueberry x Thin Mint GSC x Sunset Sherbert

Blueberry gives the cross its berry sweetness and the blue and purple coloring. Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies adds potency, resin and a creamy, minty depth, while Sunset Sherbert, a fresh and fruity indica, brings bright citrus and dense bud structure.

Barney’s Farm combined these three lines into a stable feminized strain with Gelato-style aromas and an unusually lively effect for a 60% indica. The plant stretches noticeably in pre-flowering, which is part of what drives its big harvests.

The aroma is fresh, fruity and berry-forward, like a bowl of mixed berries with a clean, crisp edge. Breaking the buds releases a creamier, dessert-like note from the Gelato side.

Growing Blue Gelato 41 Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, Blue Gelato 41 grows to 110–150 cm (43–59 in) and flowers in 63–70 days, about nine to ten weeks. Expect a strong stretch in the first weeks of flowering. Top early and use a SCROG net to spread that growth into an even canopy, which is the key to hitting the 700–800 g/m² (2.29–2.62 oz/ft²) range.

Late-flower color is more pronounced with slightly cooler nights. Keep airflow strong around the resin-heavy colas and support the main branches as they fill out.

Outdoors, plants can reach 150–200 cm (59–79 in) and yield 2500–3000 g (88.2–105.8 oz) per plant with plenty of sun, space and rich soil. Harvest comes in the second to third week of October in the Northern Hemisphere.
