Blue Dream is a California icon and one of the most famous West Coast strains of all time. Barney’s Farm’s feminized version crosses Blueberry with Super Silver Haze for a 60% Sativa / 40% Indica hybrid that reaches 28% THC.

Growing Blue Dream Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, Blue Dream reaches 100–120 cm (39–47 in) and flowers in 65–70 days according to the breeder’s specs. The plant grows tall and vigorous, so top it once or twice in veg and spread the branches under a SCROG net to keep the canopy even and maximize bud sites.

Its natural resistance to molds and mildew makes it relatively easy to maintain. Keep feeding moderate, give it plenty of light, and support the heaviest colas in late flower.

Outdoors, Blue Dream is a giant. Plants can grow up to 400 cm (157 in) and produce up to 3000 g (105.8 oz) each in good conditions, so give them room, deep soil and full sun. Harvest comes in the second to third week of October in the Northern Hemisphere.
