Glookies is what happens when two of California’s heaviest hitters share a garden. Barney’s Farm crossed Gorilla Glue with the original Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies to build this 70% Indica / 30% Sativa feminized hybrid for its Cali Collection, and it lands at around 32% THC.

It is a strain of contrasts: a stony, deeply relaxing body feel paired with a motivated, energetic head, and a flavor that swings from sour fuel to key lime to roasted walnut. Nothing about it is generic.

Barney’s Farm fixed the cross as a feminized line, so growers can expect female plants from each seed.

The Gorilla Glue influence shows in the plant’s extensive side branching and heavy bud sites, while the Cookies side tightens up the structure and keeps indoor height manageable.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is nutty and exotic, with key lime zest cutting through a warm, toasted base. It is the kind of smell that makes people stop and ask what is in the jar.

Growing Glookies Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, plan for plants of 100–120 cm (39–47 in) that throw out many side branches. Topping early and using a SCROG net turns those branches into an even, productive canopy. Flowering takes 60–70 days, and well-dialed rooms can reach 700–800 g/m² (2.29–2.62 oz/ft²).

Outdoors, plants grow to 120–180 cm (47–71 in) and finish in the first to second week of October in the Northern Hemisphere. With full sun, large containers or open ground and steady nutrition, yields of 2,000–3,000 g/plant (70.5–105.8 oz/plant) are possible.

Those big, resin-heavy colas need support late in bloom, and dense buds need airflow. Defoliate lightly around week three of flowering, stake or trellis heavy branches, and keep humidity in check during the final stretch.
