Amnesia Lemon is where two citrus-loaded legends meet. Barney’s Farm crossed a prized Amnesia Haze cut with Lemon Skunk to create a 60% Sativa / 40% Indica feminized hybrid with 26% THC, a mouthwatering lemon profile and a cup-winning pedigree.

The strain grows to a medium height with long, dense colas, which makes it far easier to handle than a pure Haze. It also finishes quickly, in just 60–65 days of flowering.

Indoor plants reach 100–110 cm (39–43 in) and yield 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²). Outdoors, plants of 120–150 cm (47–59 in) can produce up to 800 g/plant (28.2 oz/plant).

Lineage: Amnesia Haze Meets Lemon Skunk

The story starts with a collaboration between Barney’s Farm and the breeder Soma that led to Cannabis Cup success in 2004. Afterwards, Soma passed his top Amnesia Haze phenotype to the Barney’s Farm team, and that cut became one parent of Amnesia Lemon.

The other parent, Lemon Skunk, is famous for its sharp lemon aroma, sturdy growth and dependable yields. Crossing the two kept the electric Haze high and added faster flowering, denser buds and a stronger citrus punch than either parent shows alone.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is exotic, earthy and full of citrus. Fresh lemon dominates as soon as the jar opens, with an earthy base and a slightly exotic spice that hints at the Haze side of the family.

The flavor is lemon, spicy and sweet. The inhale is like biting into a sugared lemon slice, the middle turns peppery and warm, and a sweet finish lingers on the palate. It is a bright, clean smoke that stays flavorful from the first hit to the last.

Barney’s Farm describes the effect as uplifting, cerebral and energetic. The high climbs quickly into the head, sharpens focus and adds a cheerful, motivated mood. It is clearly a sativa-style experience, well suited to daytime use, creative work or social plans.

Growing Amnesia Lemon Indoors and Outdoors

Amnesia Lemon is one of the more manageable Haze hybrids. Indoors it finishes at 100–110 cm (39–43 in), with flowering complete in 60–65 days, about eight to nine weeks. Topping once and training the side branches with LST creates several long, even colas under the light.

The Lemon Skunk influence gives the plant good vigor and resilience, so it tolerates small mistakes. Keep airflow steady through the dense colas in the final weeks and use a carbon filter, since the lemon aroma gets loud.

Outdoors, plants stay mid-sized at 120–150 cm (47–59 in) and can yield up to 800 g (28.2 oz) each. Harvest comes in the first to second week of October in the Northern Hemisphere, early enough for many temperate regions to finish before the fall rains.
