Criminal+ by Ripper Seeds

Criminal+ is the Ripper Seeds answer to a simple question: how much can one plant produce in how little time? The Catalan breeder crossed the famously productive Critical Mass with Double Glock, the most powerful indica in its catalog, and created the fastest and most productive variety the bank offers.

With roughly 80% indica genetics, Criminal+ builds compact, rock-hard flowers with a sweet, fruity flavor that wins over both regular smokers and people new to potent strains. It flowers in 50 to 60 days indoors, outdoors it is ready in September, and it handles heavy feeding without complaint.

Ripper Seeds calls it its most versatile variety, and the description fits. Criminal+ works for quick indoor rotations, for first-time growers who want a forgiving plant, and for veterans who simply want a full jar on a tight schedule.

Lineage: Critical Mass x Double Glock

Critical Mass is the production engine of the cross. Its reputation for huge harvests is well earned, and here it supplies the generous structure and productive base. Double Glock makes it tougher and easier to manage.

Double Glock brings power, structural strength, and much denser, harder buds. It also reinforces the sweet fruit in the flavor and trims the flowering period, which is why Criminal+ ends up as the quickest plant in the catalog. Its predecessor, the original Criminal, collected a solid list of prizes: third place in the Bio category at the Catalunya Grows Cup Amateur 2012 and at the Beautulo Cup 2012, first prize in resins at the Catalunya Grows Cup Amateur 2014, and second prize in concentrates at the Catalunya Grows Cup Professional 2014.

Aroma, Flavor, and Effect

Criminal+ does not try to be complicated. The aroma is direct, generous, and sweet, dominated by ripe fruit with a soft, pleasant background. It is easy to like on the first sniff, which makes it a crowd-pleaser in a shared session and an easy entry point for people who usually shy away from funky, gassy profiles.

The smoke is smooth and sweet on the inhale, with the fruit carrying through to a clean finish. No sharp fuel, no harsh bite.

The effect is relaxing and sociable. A gradual body relaxation spreads in and settles you down without pinning you to the couch, while the mind stays upbeat and open to conversation. Ripper Seeds rates the effect as manageable: real potency, delivered in a friendly way that suits evenings with friends, movies, or music.

Growing Criminal+ Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, Criminal+ needs only a short vegetative period and then flowers in 50 to 60 days. That speed makes it a natural fit for sea of green setups and fast perpetual rotations. The breeder rates the yield as very high, and the compact, hard flowers stack tightly along every branch.

One trait sets it apart in the feeding department: Criminal+ accepts high nutrient levels. Where many strains burn at the tips, this one rewards generous, controlled feeding with more weight. Increase EC gradually, watch the leaf tips, and let the plant show you its ceiling.

Outdoors, Criminal+ is ready to harvest in September in the Northern Hemisphere, which lets it finish before most fall rains roll in. Its robust structure, simple management, and short cycle make it a friendly choice for beginners, while experienced growers appreciate the consistency harvest after harvest.
