Banana Gushers takes one of the most sought-after dessert cuts of recent years and drenches it in banana. Oldman Green of Old School Genetics crossed the Gushers “Connected” cut (Gelato #41 x Triangle Kush) with Banana Ripple #17, his own selection from the Banana Ripple reversal project that feeds the Banoffee Pie limited series. The outcome is a 30% Indica / 70% Sativa hybrid with resin production that the breeder describes as unprecedented.

This pack holds 6 feminized seeds. Growth is quick and easygoing, a trait inherited from Triangle Kush. Plants stay slender during veg, then take off after the flip: expect a stretch of four to five times their size, much of it during the first five to six weeks of flowering. Give them headroom or train them early.

Side branches produce buds that are nearly as compact as the main cola, so the whole plant pulls its weight. Indoors the breeder lists 600+ g/m² (1.97+ oz/ft²), and outdoor plants reach around 600 g/plant (21.2 oz/plant). Large calyxes and a low leaf ratio make trimming refreshingly fast, and some phenotypes show an intense blue coloration late in bloom.

Flowering runs about 60-65 days indoors. Outdoors, harvest falls between late September and October.

Flavor, Effects, and Extraction-Grade Resin

The nose is pure exotic fruit salad with a gassy streak. Ripe banana and banana cream lead the way, followed by a bright lemon tart note and a background of fuel, earth and Kush. On the exhale, the Gushers side adds a candied, tropical finish that keeps the profile from turning one-dimensional.

That terpene load rides on a thick blanket of trichomes. Banana Gushers was selected with extraction in mind, and the sticky heads cover calyxes and sugar leaves alike. Hash makers and rosin pressers will find plenty to work with.

The high is distinctly sativa-forward: uplifting, energetic and euphoric, with a creative, cerebral spark that comes on fast. A pleasant body sensation follows without slowing you down much. With THC reported around 28%, it’s potent, so newcomers should take it slowly.

It fits daytime sessions, creative projects and social afternoons, when you want flavor and energy in the same jar.
