Straw Limez is a fruit-stand cross. Grounded Genetics combined Strawberry Gummies, its Strawberries n Cream x PapayaDawg line, with Lemon Tree S1 x Runtz, the citrus-candy pairing behind its well-known Pink Limez.
The breeder has not published a long description for this release, so the outline below draws on the parents and on how Grounded Genetics describes these lines elsewhere. The name says most of it: strawberry sweetness and sharp lime.
Seeds are sold as 7 feminized photoperiod seeds per pack.
Parent Lines: Strawberry Gummies and the Limez Family
Strawberry Gummies brings together Strawberries n Cream and PapayaDawg. The strawberry-and-cream side suggests sweet berry and dairy notes, while PapayaDawg, which the breeder describes as a washer line with loud tropical papaya gas, adds fruit, fuel and resin.
The Lemon Tree S1 x Runtz side is the same recipe behind Pink Limez, one of the oldest lines in the Grounded catalog. The breeder’s Pink Limez keeper was an all-round winner that also performed well for water hash, and it has since been used in Tropical Limez, Peach Limeade and Pink Plumz.
Straw Limez is part of a series in which the breeder paired Lemon Tree S1 x Runtz with different mothers, such as Lime Cookie, Lime OG and Blue Limez, each adding its own twist to the lime candy base.
Aroma, Flavor and Expected Effect
Expect sweet strawberry candy to meet zesty lime and lemon peel, with a creamy undertone and a tropical, slightly gassy finish from PapayaDawg. Some phenotypes should lean berry-and-cream, others toward sharp citrus candy.
No lab data is published. With Lemon Tree and Runtz on one side and dessert fruit on the other, the effect typically leans toward a cheerful, upbeat mood with a relaxed body. Results vary by phenotype.
Both sides of the family have washer history, so resin-heavy phenotypes are worth testing for hash or rosin.
