GG#4 is the feminized photoperiod version of the strain that made glue-covered buds famous. Seedstockers delivers extreme resin production, 20–26% THC and a heavy, happy full-body effect in 8 to 9 weeks of bloom.

The breeder lists two notable awards for it: 1st European Plant of the Year in the Hybrids category from Soft Secrets, and 1st Best Rosin at Flores del Sur. Both point to the same strength: sticky, potent flowers that are perfect for smoking and for pressing.

Lineage: Chem’s Sister x Sour Dubb x Chocolate Diesel

GG#4 comes from a three-way cross of Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel. Chem’s Sister brings the fuel and resin, Sour Dubb adds sour funk and density, and Chocolate Diesel contributes depth and that faint chocolate finish.

The combination produced a hybrid with extreme resin output and a reliable structure, leaning indica in growth and effect. It quickly became a reference for extract makers and for anyone who wants as much potency as possible from a single plant.

This feminized photoperiod version keeps those traits, so growers get the glue-covered colas and heavy effect while controlling the plant’s size with the light schedule.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is one of the loudest you can grow: pungent diesel fuel and damp earth come first, followed by sweet pine resin. Plan on strong carbon filtration indoors.

The flavor follows with earthy pine, sharp diesel and a chocolatey finish. Seedstockers files it as earthy and sour, and the smoke is rich, complex and unmistakable.

The effect is a powerful, full-body stone with a happy, euphoric undertone. It relaxes the whole body deeply and can pin you to the sofa, so it is ideal for evenings, when there is nowhere else to be.

Growing GG#4 Indoors and Outdoors

GG#4 grows into a medium-tall plant with strong side branching and heavy resin coverage from mid-flower. It is forgiving of minor mistakes and responds well to basic training. Indoors, expect 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²) under LED on 12/12, at a height of 100–140 cm (39–55 in). The sticky side branches fill a SCROG net perfectly.

The resin is so heavy that scissors and fingers get glued within minutes of trimming. Seedstockers suggests keeping isopropyl alcohol and spare scissors on hand at harvest. If you plan to make rosin or hash, collect the trim: it is worth processing.

Outdoors, GG#4 is robust and productive in warm, sunny climates, with 500–700 g/plant (17.6–24.7 oz/plant). Support the heavy branches in late flower to prevent snapping, and choose a spot where the strong smell will not be a problem.
