Royal CBG Auto is a new milestone in the Royal Queen Seeds library: the strain with the highest CBG content in the entire RQS archive. CBG (cannabigerol) is a less common cannabinoid that most plants only produce in small amounts, and here it sits at 6 to 8%, together with high CBD and almost no THC.
To get there, the breeders carefully chose parents that would pass down exactly the right traits. They crossed the fast, reliable Goliat Auto with a high-CBG specimen, drawing out the cannabinoid and pairing it with efficient autoflowering genetics. The result is 75% sativa, 20% indica and 5% ruderalis.
With THC at roughly 0.09%, Royal CBG Auto does not produce a high. The flowers deliver a clear-headed, lucid and functional experience that you can enjoy at any time of day.
Compact, fast and unusual, she is a fascinating addition to any home grow focused on minor cannabinoids.
Sweet Vanilla Flavor and a Clear, Grounded Feel
Royal CBG Auto stands out for its flavor. The data sheet lists vanilla, and the buds deliver a sweet vanilla-bean note supported by soft, earthy undertones. It is a distinctly sweet profile for an autoflower and makes every draw a pleasure.
The combination of CBG, CBD and terpenes produces an effect that is clear, grounded and quietly upbeat. The mood brightens, creativity flows and you stay completely present. It is a relaxed, easygoing companion for work, hobbies or an afternoon outside.
Picture a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a calm summer evening: sweet, simple and pleasantly clear.
Growing Royal CBG Auto Seeds
Royal CBG Auto is compact and fast, which suits stealthy growers who want several plants in a small space. Indoors, she reaches 2.6 to 3 feet (80–90 cm), a perfect fit for small tents and converted cupboards. Royal Queen Seeds rates the indoor yield at 12 to 16 oz/m² (340–455 g/m²). Because she flowers on her own schedule, there is no need to switch the lights to 12/12. Most growers run an 18/6 or 20/4 light schedule from seed to harvest, which keeps the plant growing and building buds without interruption.
The flowering phase lasts about 50 days, roughly 7 weeks, and the full cycle runs 65 to 70 days from seed, about 9 to 10 weeks. Outdoors, plants grow to about 3 feet (90 cm) and produce 2 to 3 oz/plant (55–85 g/plant). Low-stress training keeps them low and discreet, and the strain tolerates a variety of conditions, including cooler weather, so you can plan more than one harvest per season.
