Gen 1 Duet is a two-in-one feminized pack from Ethos Genetics with 10 seeds: 5 Martian Fuel GEN1 and 5 Pocket Rocket GEN1. Both are fast-flowering photoperiods bred from Banana Daddy AUTO IBL, finishing in just 49 to 56 days of bloom. If you have been curious about the Gen 1 strain idea from Ethos seeds, this duet is the easiest way to run two expressions side by side.
One plant leans gas, pine and coconut on a compact, rigid frame. The other grows tall spears of resinous nugs with earthy, hashy and tropical sweet terpenes. Together they cover a lot of flavor ground in a single garden, with heavy yields and a fast onset.
Ethos describes the pack simply: easy to grow, easy to love, two varieties in one.
What GEN 1 Means and the Lineup
GEN 1 is the Ethos Genetics term for a photoperiod with fast-flowering tendencies, created by crossing a photoperiod with an autoflower. Building a new, stable auto line takes several more rounds of breeding, so these first-generation plants still need a 12/12 light switch to flower, but they finish noticeably faster than typical photoperiods.
- Martian Fuel GEN1: Martian Candy OG x Banana Daddy AUTO IBL
- Pocket Rocket GEN1: Jet Fuel x Banana Daddy AUTO IBL
Banana Daddy AUTO IBL is an inbred autoflower line, which gives both selections a shared foundation of speed and resin, while Martian Candy OG and Jet Fuel steer them in different terpene directions.
Martian Fuel GEN1: Gas, Pine and Coconut
Martian Fuel GEN1 grows compact and rigid with extremely vigorous side branching, so there is no need to top her. Flowers are spongy but solid, with huge bracts. Her dominant terpenes are gasoline, pine and coconut, a striking combination that blends fuel with a creamy tropical note.
Pocket Rocket GEN1: Earthy, Hashy and Tropical Sweet
Pocket Rocket GEN1 is vigorous with medium-long internodes and grows tall spears of super resinous, medium-sized nugs. Flowers are dense with great resin production, and the terpenes lean earthy and hashy with a tropical sweet layer on top.
Effect and Growing Both Strains
Ethos files the pack under classic hybrid effects, with TAC from 25% to 30% and a fast onset. Expect a balanced experience with funky, distinctive flavors.
Indoors, Martian Fuel stays compact while Pocket Rocket stretches taller, so place the shorter plants toward the edges or raise them on pots to level the canopy. Both are rated for beginners through experienced growers. Outdoors they finish early to mid-season, which helps in regions with short summers or early fall rain.
