Zkittlez x Spritzer is the sweet tooth of the Spritzer family. Candies Seed Co put one of the most recognisable candy strains of the last decade over Spritzer and aimed for something bright, sweet and easy to come back to. The breeder calls it a tropical candy rotation: flavorful enough to stand out, light enough to keep in regular use.
The cross sits inside the Candies Seed Co Collector Series VOL.1, where each line is built around one clearly identified parent. In the Spritzer line, nicknamed Fizzy Fruit Terps, five guest strains meet the same Spritzer partner. Zkittlez is the guest that pushes the family furthest toward pure candy.
On the pedigree side, Zkittlez is credited to Terp Hogz and is usually described as Grape Ape x Grapefruit plus an undisclosed parent, while Spritzer descends from Runtz x (Grape Pie x MAC). Both sides share grape and candy DNA, which helps explain why this pairing comes across as sweet, fruity and cohesive rather than conflicted.
Each pack holds 5 feminized photoperiod seeds. The breeder lists 8-9 weeks of bloom and a medium yield, a straightforward schedule that fits most indoor setups. Expect some variation between plants, which is part of the appeal for collectors who like to pop a full pack and pick a keeper.
Flavor, Effects, and Daytime Appeal
The terpene direction on the label reads tropical and candy. Zkittlez lends its famous mix of berry, grape and grapefruit candy, and Spritzer adds a fizzy, freshly opened lift that keeps the sweetness from turning syrupy. Think of a bag of tropical fruit chews with a splash of sparkling citrus on top.
The profile tends to stay light on the palate. Rather than a thick dessert finish, the exhale is clean and fruity, which is what the breeder means by drinkable fruit brightness. Growers who love candy terps but find cake and gas crosses too dense will feel at home here.
Candies Seed Co rates the potency as Medium and suggests it for the day, describing an option made for flavor, movement and regular rotation. That makes it one of the more approachable entries in the Spritzer lineup. Personal experience will always vary with phenotype, cure and tolerance.
If the Spritzer family were a candy shop, Zkittlez x Spritzer would be the rainbow jar by the register: colorful, cheerful and hard to walk past.
