Red Pure CBD Auto by Sweet Seeds

Red Pure CBD Auto is a “pure CBD” autoflower from Sweet Seeds’ Red Family. Listed as variety SWS81, it combines 15–17% CBD with only 0.4–0.5% THC, a THC:CBD ratio of roughly 1:34 to 1:37, and adds striking red to purple flowers in about 95% of plants.

It comes from two of the breeder’s own strains: Sweet Pure CBD (SWS65) and Red Poison Auto (SWS39). The genetic makeup is 58.4% Indica, 40% Sativa and 1.6% Ruderalis, and the plant looks like a typical indica, with a large central bud, short side branches, a strong stem and plenty of resin.

Plants stay compact at 50–90 cm (20–35 in) and finish about 9 weeks from germination, which makes this a tidy, colorful option for growers who want a CBD-rich harvest with very little THC.

Sweet Pure CBD x Red Poison Auto

Sweet Pure CBD is the breeder’s high-CBD, very low-THC photoperiod line, while Red Poison Auto is one of its most popular red-flowered autos, descending from Green Poison and a purple Pakistani Kush auto. Crossing the two produced an automatic plant that keeps the CBD-dominant chemistry and adds both speed and color.

The indica-style build is easy to manage: one main cola surrounded by short, sturdy branches, ideal for compact grows and small spaces.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is sweet and earthy, lifted by fresh pine and cypress and finished with hints of forest berries. It is a clean, green bouquet, like walking through a cool conifer forest with a handful of blackberries. The flavor stays smooth and sweet, with the woody freshness coming through on the exhale.

With CBD at 15–17% and THC kept to 0.4–0.5%, the effect is relaxing and pleasant with a light, happy mood and essentially no strong psychoactive high. It suits consumers who enjoy the ritual and flavor of cannabis and want to stay clear-headed.

The red and purple tones also make the dried flowers and any homemade extracts unusually attractive.

Growing Red Pure CBD Auto Indoors and Outdoors

No light switch is needed: keep 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest and the plant flowers on its own. Sow directly into a final container of about 11 liters (3 gallons). At 50–90 cm (20–35 in) it fits easily into small tents, cabinets and balconies.

Indoors the breeder lists 450–500 g/m² (1.47–1.64 oz/ft²). Because the plant builds one dominant cola with short side branches, a sea of green with several plants per square meter makes good use of space. A light tie-down in week two can bring the side branches up for a flatter canopy.

Outdoors, expect 30–100 g/plant (1.1–3.5 oz/plant). With a 9-week cycle you can plan two or more crops between spring and fall. Cool nights late in the season tend to intensify the red color, so a late-summer crop can give especially vivid flowers.
