Thunder Dawg Regular is the first regular, non-feminized line from Seedstockers, built from elite clones in the breeder’s Superior program. It crosses (Thunder Banana x Sour Sherbet) with (Candy Dawg x Leeroy), combining four respected lines into one compact, frosty, indica-dominant plant.

Because these are regular seeds, each one can grow into a male or a female, with roughly a 50/50 split. That makes Thunder Dawg less suited to a grower who only wants buds, and ideal for anyone who wants to select mother plants, collect pollen or create new crosses.

Flowering takes about 9–10 weeks, THC can reach up to 25%, and the yield is rated huge. The plant responds very well to both SOG and SCROG and performs outdoors as well as in explosive indoor grows.

The mother combines Thunder Banana, one of the breeder’s most popular strains since its 2022 launch, with Sour Sherbet, known for its frosty look, strong yields and THC close to 25%. That side brings resin, bag appeal and productivity.

The father comes from Candy Dawg, one of the first Seedstockers creations, crossed with Leeroy. This paternal line adds its own character, does well in colder conditions and flowers in 9–10 weeks, rounding out a deep, indica-dominant gene pool that offers plenty to work with.

Growing Thunder Dawg Regular: Sexing, Mothers and Breeding

Start more seeds than you need. With a roughly 50/50 male-to-female ratio, five seeds might give two or three females. Grow them under 18/6 in veg, then watch the nodes once pre-flowers appear, usually a few weeks into veg or soon after the switch to 12/12. Males show small pollen sacs, females show white pistils.

For mother selection, take clones from every plant before flowering, label them, and flower the originals. Choose the female with the strongest structure, resin, aroma and yield, and keep her clone as a mother for future runs. To breed, keep the most vigorous, well-structured male separate, collect his pollen, and apply it to selected branches of your chosen females.

For buds alone, remove males as soon as they show so they do not pollinate the room. The remaining compact, frosty females respond very well to SOG and SCROG indoors, and outdoors they handle cooler conditions thanks to the Candy Dawg x Leeroy side.
