GG#4 Auto by Seedstockers

GG#4 Auto brings the sticky, fuel-heavy character of the famous GG#4 lineage into a quick autoflower. Seedstockers built it from Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb, Chocolate Diesel and NY Diesel Auto, resulting in an indica-dominant autoflower with huge yields, earthy-sour terpenes and a happy, relaxed effect.

Because it flowers on its own, there is no light switch to plan around. Keep 18/6 or 20/4 from germination to the chop and the plant runs its full cycle in about 10 weeks from seed.

The plants grow bushy and vigorous, filling their available space efficiently and stacking dense, sticky flowers coated in resin. THC lands in the 20–26% range, which puts GG#4 Auto among the stronger options in the Classics auto line.

The breeder rates it for intermediate growers, mainly because the resin, smell and bushy growth reward a grower who keeps an eye on airflow and canopy shape.

Lineage: Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel

The original GG#4 combined Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, three lines known for raw fuel aromas and heavy resin output. That mix became legendary for producing flowers so sticky they gum up scissors during trimming.

Seedstockers brought in NY Diesel Auto to add automatic flowering and reinforce the diesel backbone. The result keeps the intense character of the original while cutting the cultivation time down to roughly ten weeks.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The flavor opens with deep earthy notes and a pronounced sour character. A raw, diesel-like layer appears shortly after, adding weight and intensity to the profile, and subtle Kush-style undertones round things off on the exhale.

The smoke feels dense and full, and the earthy, sour and fuel notes linger on the palate long after. It is a little like fresh soil after rain mixed with the tang of sourdough and a hint of gas.

The effect starts with a gentle mental lift that brightens the mood while keeping the mind calm and present. As it develops, a warm physical relaxation spreads through the body and a comfortable sense of stillness settles in.

Growing GG#4 Auto Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, run 18/6 or 20/4 from start to finish and plant the seed directly into its final container, since autos have little time to recover from transplanting. GG#4 Auto grows bushy and fills space quickly, so allow room between plants and keep air moving through the canopy.

Natural growth with gentle LST is the most effective approach. Bending the main stem and spreading the side branches in the first weeks evens out the canopy and helps light reach the lower bud sites, which turns the plant’s vigor into a more even harvest.

Outdoors, choose a sunny, sheltered spot and give the roots plenty of space. Sticky, resin-heavy flowers and a loud aroma mean discreet locations and good ventilation are worth considering. Since it ignores day length, it can be sown at any point in the warm season.
