Biscotti Gelato is a dessert strain built through careful selection. Fast Buds first released this line as a limited batch at the start of 2025. It showed real promise, and for 2026 the breeders went back to work, reworking both parent lines through large in-house population runs to improve stability and consistency.

On the Biscotti (Cookies) side, they kept the same phenotype, chosen for its structure, density and baked, lightly spiced profile. On the Gelato (Sherbinski’s) side, they moved to a phenotype with a stronger Sunset Sherbet influence, which brings more depth to the terpenes. The parent selections were also stress-tested under different conditions so weaker traits could be bred out.

The result is a balanced 50% indica / 50% sativa feminized photoperiod with up to 32% THC, improved vigor and a sturdier, more uniform structure from plant to plant.

Growing Biscotti Gelato

Biscotti Gelato is a vigorous grower with strong lateral branching and a dense frame, which makes it easy to fill a tent. Fast Buds rates it XXL, with heights of 135-180 cm (53-71 in). Topping in veg and spreading the branches under a SCROG net turns all that side growth into an even canopy of tops.

Flip to 12/12 when the space is about two-thirds full, and plan on 9-10 weeks of flowering. Indoor yields reach 550-650 g/m² (1.8-2.1 oz/ft²), and outdoor plants can produce up to 1,100 g (39 oz) each. The dense buds call for steady airflow in late bloom.

Aroma, Flavor and Effects

The terpene profile is layered rather than sharp. Gelato brings creamy sweetness, a streak of gas, berries and light tropical fruit, while Biscotti adds a doughy, baked character with a subtle spice on the finish. Fast Buds sums it up as cookie dough, cream and sweet, and the flavor keeps unfolding the longer it sits in the jar.

The buds are chunky and dripping with trichomes, so Biscotti Gelato is a true resin monster and a natural choice for rosin, hash or other extracts. With up to 32% THC, the effect is powerful and long-lasting. It suits experienced consumers and relaxed evenings.
