Banana Purple Punch Auto is a candy-sweet, indica-dominant autoflower from Fast Buds that belongs in the high-potency conversation, with THC listed at up to 30.4%. She comes from Purple Punch Auto F5 x Strawberry Banana Auto F5, worked into an F5 feminized polyhybrid autoflower at 75% Indica / 25% Sativa.
Speed is another strong point. Fast Buds lists a seed-to-harvest time of about 8 weeks, roughly 56 days. Being an autoflower, she needs no flip to 12/12: run your lights at 18/6 or 20/4 for the whole grow.
Plants reach 80-120 cm (31-47 in) in the XL size class, with a stout frame, thick central colas, and heavily stacked side buds. Indoors, she produces 450-550 g/m² (1.5-1.8 oz/ft²); outdoors, expect about 60-200 g (2-7 oz) per plant.
Flowers finish dense and often show purple and magenta tones under a heavy trichome layer, which helps explain why Fast Buds calls her a hash maker’s dream.
Ripe Banana and Gummy Candy
The flavor is pure candy shop. Overripe banana dominates, backed by strawberry and a fruity background that leaves a taste reminiscent of a handful of gummy bears. Fast Buds’ taste notes read banana, fruits, gummy, and strawberry.
The effect is a solid indica experience. Growers most often report feeling relaxed and happy, with many also noting sleepiness and a case of the munchies. The body heaviness builds from head to toe, so she fits nighttime sessions far better than busy afternoons.
Consistent resin coverage across buds and sugar leaf gives plenty of material for hash and extraction, with flavorful results and good aroma retention.
Growing Banana Purple Punch Auto
Fast Buds rates her as a good choice for beginners. A compact structure with short internodes means she needs little training; a touch of LST in the early weeks is enough to even out the canopy, and she also works nicely in a sea of green.
Dense colas call for good airflow and moderate humidity in late flower. Cooler night temperatures toward the end can deepen the purple and magenta coloring.
