Amnesia Haze Auto by Barney's Farm

Amnesia Haze Auto by Barney’s Farm turns one of Amsterdam’s most celebrated Sativas into a fast, productive autoflower. It crosses the breeder’s Amnesia Haze with BF Super Auto #1, resulting in an 80% Sativa plant rated at 23% THC that completes its full cycle in just 65–70 days from seed.

The Amnesia Haze line has been part of the Barney’s Farm story for a long time. Nearly two decades ago, Soma passed one of his standout Amnesia Haze phenotypes to the Barney’s Farm lab, and that line went on to win the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2004. This auto version is the long-awaited evolution of that classic.

Growing taller than most autos, it reaches 90–110 cm (35–43 in) indoors and 100–140 cm (39–55 in) outdoors. Indoor yields hit 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²), and outdoor plants can produce 230–300 g/plant (8.1–10.6 oz/plant).

Lineage: Amnesia Haze x BF Super Auto #1

Amnesia Haze has a striking family tree, built from Southeast Asian landraces from Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, a dose of Jamaican Haze, and Afghani-Hawaiian genetics that sped things up. That deep Sativa heritage explains the bright, heady character and the vigorous growth.

Barney’s Farm combined this line with BF Super Auto #1 to add autoflowering and a shorter life cycle. The Sativa side still drives fast vertical growth, producing long, dense olive-green flowering structures covered in orange hairs and glistening trichomes.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is intense and instantly recognizable: earthy at the base, with rich, distinct hints of lemon and citrus on top. A faint incense note sits in the background, a calling card of classic Haze.

The flavor follows with lemon, citrus and earthy pine. The most abundant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by myrcene and limonene, which together give the smoke its spicy-citrus snap and earthy depth.

The effect is uplifting, focused and energetic. Expect a clear, cerebral high with a burst of creativity and motivation that suits daytime projects, walks and good conversation. At 23% THC, it carries real strength in a quick-finishing package.

Growing Amnesia Haze Auto Indoors and Outdoors

As an autoflower, Amnesia Haze Auto flowers on its own without any change in light schedule. Indoors, run 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest. Sow directly into the final container and use gentle LST (bending and tying branches) to keep the top even, since the Sativa side drives more stretch than most autos.

Allow vertical space for plants up to 90–110 cm (35–43 in) indoors. The full cycle takes 65–70 days from seed, and a dialed setup can return 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²). Good airflow helps the long, dense flowering branches finish clean.

Outdoors, plants reach 100–140 cm (39–55 in) and produce 230–300 g/plant (8.1–10.6 oz/plant). With such a short cycle, growers can sow from late spring through midsummer and harvest before cold weather arrives, even in northern US states.
