Mimosa x Orange Punch Auto continues Barney’s Farm’s Mimosa evolution in autoflowering form. It starts from the backcross of Orange Punch with the 2020 standout Mimosa Evo, then adds BF Super Auto #1 for a compact plant that finishes in 65–70 days from seed.

The plant is 60% Indica, 40% Sativa and tests at 24% THC. Like the feminized version, it can turn striking shades of deep purple against dark olive green, studded with bright orange pistils.

Production is the big draw. Indoors, Barney’s Farm lists 550–650 g/m² (1.80–2.13 oz/ft²), and outdoor plants in ideal conditions grow to 100–140 cm (39–55 in) and give 280–350 g (9.9–12.3 oz) each, packed into huge, very compact colas.

Dense, heavy buds with little leaf make trimming quick, and the tangerine-candy aroma gets stronger with every day toward harvest.

Mimosa Evo brought Barney’s Farm a burst of citrus brightness and vigor in 2020. Orange Punch adds sweet orange terpenes and color. Backcrossing the two produced the photoperiod Mimosa x Orange Punch.

Introducing BF Super Auto #1 gave the line its autoflowering trigger and a very sturdy, compact frame. The result is a short, robust plant with multiple large, resinous buds.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

Barney’s Farm credits beta-caryophyllene, linalool and limonene for the aroma: mandarin, sweet citrus and a candy-like sugar note that fills the room at harvest.

The flavor follows with citrus, candy and orange. It is like a mimosa made with fresh tangerine juice and a spoonful of orange sherbet, sweet, zesty and sparkling.

The effects are creative, stimulating and happy. Despite the indica lean, the high is upbeat and sociable, with a lively mood lift and an easygoing body. It works for brunch-hour sessions, creative tasks and relaxed afternoons.

Growing Mimosa x Orange Punch Auto Indoors and Outdoors

Run 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest; no light change is needed. Sow into the final pot so the taproot develops undisturbed from day one.

Indoors the plant stays at 80–100 cm (31–39 in), sturdy and compact, with multiple strong colas. Light LST in weeks 2 to 4 spreads the canopy; heavy pruning is unnecessary. Keep airflow strong late in bloom, since the colas are dense and heavy. With good lighting, harvests reach 550–650 g/m² (1.80–2.13 oz/ft²).

Outdoors, it grows to 100–140 cm (39–55 in) and yields 280–350 g/plant (9.9–12.3 oz/plant) in full sun. Cooler nights near the end can bring out the purple hues. The 65–70 days cycle makes it easy to fit two runs into a warm season.
