The photoperiod Tangerine Dream earned its reputation on loud citrus terpenes and a lively sativa character, and this autoflowering edition keeps that juicy mandarin profile front and center.

Barney’s Farm built it by crossing Tangerine Dream with Autoflower #1, producing a 60% Sativa / 40% Indica autoflower with 21% THC. The breeder dialed the THC back slightly from the original and added a small CBD boost, so the experience lands rounder and more balanced than the high-octane parent.

Plants stay manageable at 70–90 cm (28–35 in) indoors and 80–110 cm (31–43 in) outdoors, yet they throw out strong, numerous side branches that fill a tent quickly. Autoflower #1 supplies the ruderalis trigger. Thanks to that parent, the plant begins flowering on its own after a short vegetative burst, no matter how many hours of light it receives. The result keeps the tall-ish sativa frame of Tangerine Dream but compresses it into a compact, branchy bush that suits small tents, balconies and stealthy garden corners.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

Rub a sugar leaf in mid-flower and the room fills with sweet mandarin peel and fresh citrus. By harvest the bouquet deepens into something closer to tangerine candy, sharp and sugary at the same time.

Because there is little time to recover from setbacks, many growers sow directly into the final container, typically 11 to 15 liters (3 to 4 gallons), so the young roots are never disturbed.
