Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1 Fast Version by Sweet Seeds

Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1 Fast Version is a feminized, ultra-fast photoperiod hybrid that stands out the moment it starts to ripen: around 75% of plants develop spectacular red flowers, especially in the last weeks of bloom. Sweet Seeds lists it as variety SWS106, and it finishes in about 7 weeks of flowering indoors.

This Indica-leaning polyhybrid (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) carries 18–22% THC and about 0.1% CBD, builds large, dense buds full of aromatic resin and smells of red fruit and cola. The breeder notes a 2nd Prize for Hash at the II German Hash League Cup in Mannheim, Germany, in 2024.

Lineage: Sunset Sherbet x Strawberry Cola Auto

Sweet Seeds combined an elite photoperiod clone of the famous Californian Sunset Sherbet with a selected autoflowering line of Strawberry Cola Auto. The aim was a fast-flowering, resin-rich plant with Indica dominance, a complex flavor and the red-flower trait. As part of the F1 Fast Version line, it is a first filial generation hybrid that keeps photoperiod behavior while flowering sooner.

Because it is photoperiod-dependent, it needs 12/12 lighting indoors to bloom and responds to shortening days outdoors. It will not switch to flower on its own like an autoflower, so growers can veg as long as their space allows.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The profile is powerful and complex, with sweet red berries and cola soda leading the way. Earthy and woody undertones add depth, while fresh citrus hints keep the finish bright. Think of a cold berry cola poured over ice on a wooden porch with a slice of lemon on the rim.

The effect is cheerful and relaxing, with a thoughtful side that the breeder describes as encouraging introspection, concentration and heightened sensory perception. The mood lifts, the body calms, and the mind stays tuned in, which makes it a good fit for music, films or quiet creative sessions.

Growing Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, switch to 12/12 after a short veg and harvest about 7 weeks later. With optimal parameters, Sweet Seeds reports 450–600 g/m² (1.47–1.97 oz/ft²). The plant grows strong branches that support big, dense buds; a light topping with LST evens the canopy, and good airflow keeps the tight flowers clean. Slightly cooler nights in the final weeks can help bring out the red coloring.

Outdoors, ample sun, a quality soil mix and adequate nutrition support 400–650 g/plant (14.1–22.9 oz/plant) per plant. The short bloom moves harvest earlier than a standard Sherbet, and its resin output, highlighted by the breeder’s hash award, makes it worth saving trim for extraction.
