+Speed Auto was built around a single goal: finding the genes behind very fast flowering. Sweet Seeds’ R&D department crossed an autoflowering Critical Mass line, picked for its quick bloom and intense aroma, with Speed Devil #2 Auto (SWS25), one of its fastest autos. The result, variety SWS27, is ready to harvest just 7 weeks after germination.

That speed does not come at the expense of character. The plants are compact and well branched, typically 50–90 cm (20–35 in), and they pack thick buds covered in aromatic resin. The aroma is anything but standard: sweet fruit meets yeasty, cheesy and musky tones with a skunky, spicy edge.

With a near-perfect balance of 48.4% Indica, 48.5% Sativa and 3.1% Ruderalis, +Speed Auto delivers a versatile effect that starts creative and uplifting and gradually turns into a gentle, pleasant calm. It has also collected silverware, which says a lot about how growers rate it.

Critical Mass Auto x Speed Devil #2 Auto

This is a third-generation Sweet Seeds autoflower. The Critical Mass Auto side contributes thick, heavy buds and that unmistakable sweet, slightly cheesy aroma, while Speed Devil #2 Auto brings the express flowering that gives the strain its name. Selection focused on the shortest possible cycle, so even within an autoflower catalog this is one of the quickest options.

The breeder lists two awards: 1st Prize for the Most Popular Choice for Indoor Growers at Semyanich (Russia, 2024) and 1st Prize in the autoflowering category at the 1st Grow Diaries POTY held during Spannabis (Barcelona, 2022).

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The bouquet opens sweet and fruity, then turns unusual: yeast, aged cheese and musk roll in underneath, with skunky and spicy notes rounding out the profile. It smells a little like fresh bread dough next to a ripe cheese board and a bowl of fruit. The flavor is rich and lingers well after the exhale, which is not something you always expect from such a fast plant.

THC sits at 15–20% with around 0.7% CBD. The effect starts with a creative, uplifting mental buzz that keeps the mind active and talkative, then eases into a soft, pleasant relaxation. It is a cheerful, balanced experience that works for an afternoon project as well as for winding down later in the day.

Growing +Speed Auto Indoors and Outdoors

No light switch is needed. Keep the lights on 18/6 or 20/4 from germination to harvest and the plant will flower automatically after a short vegetative phase. Because the whole cycle lasts only about 7 weeks, sow directly into the final pot, 7–11 liters (2–3 gallons) is plenty, and avoid any technique that requires recovery time.

Indoors the breeder reports 350–500 g/m² (1.15–1.64 oz/ft²) under good conditions. The compact size makes it a natural fit for sea of green setups, small tents and stealth cabinets. A light tie-down of the main stem around week two is enough to even out the canopy.

Outdoors, expect 30–150 g/plant (1.1–5.3 oz/plant) with plenty of sun, a quality soil mix and adequate nutrition. The short cycle lets you squeeze in several harvests between spring and fall, or slot a crop into a short northern summer. Balconies and small gardens suit it well thanks to its modest height.
