Jack 47 F1 Fast Version by Sweet Seeds

Jack 47 F1 Fast Version delivers one of the most potent strains in the Sweet Seeds lineup on a shorter schedule. This feminized photoperiod F1 hybrid, variety SWS51, flowers in 7–8 weeks indoors, about one week sooner than the original Jack 47, while keeping the exceptional vigor, thick buds and heavy resin that define the family.

It is strongly Sativa-leaning at 75% Sativa and 25% Indica, carries 18–24% THC and around 1.4% CBD, and produces a fresh, sweet bouquet with bright citrus and fruity accents. Sweet Seeds also lists a 3rd Prize in the Sativa Indoor category at the II Copa del Rey in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2016.

Lineage: Jack 47 With a Faster Finish

The breeder built Jack 47 F1 Fast Version by crossing a selected genetic line of Jack 47 Auto (SWS31) with an elite clone of Jack 47 (SWS08). This is the recipe used throughout the F1 Fast Version line: combine a proven photoperiod clone with an autoflowering line, and the resulting F1 hybrid stays photoperiod-dependent while shaving time off the bloom.

Because it is a photoperiod plant, it will not flower on its own like an autoflower. Indoors it waits for a 12/12 schedule, and outdoors it follows the natural shortening of the days. The F1 cross also brings hybrid vigor, so plants grow fast and strong from the start.

Aroma, Flavor and Effect

The aroma is fresh and sweet, with incense and floral tones laced through lemony citrus. The breeder’s data sheet adds fruity, orange and mango notes, so the jar swings between a bright tropical fruit bowl and the smoky sweetness of a temple courtyard. The citrus keeps every draw crisp and lively.

The effect is a psychoactive, stimulating ride with a creative streak, typical of a Sativa-dominant plant. Ideas come quickly and the mood stays bright, while a relaxing undertone settles into the body as the session goes on. With up to 24% THC it is powerful rather than gentle, so a measured approach makes sense for occasional consumers.

Growing Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, plan for 7–8 weeks of flowering after the switch to 12/12. With good light and nutrition, Sweet Seeds reports 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²). As a vigorous Sativa-leaning hybrid it can stretch after the flip, so a short veg, early topping and a SCROG net help keep the canopy level and the lights at a safe distance.

Outdoors, the plant is at home in a warm, sunny spot with a rich soil mix and room to grow. Its vigor makes it a strong producer in the open, and the faster bloom compared with the original Jack 47 helps the harvest come in before autumn weather turns. Generous root space, regular feeding and some support for the heavy, resin-loaded tops will pay off at harvest time.
