Green Poison Auto is one of the classic autoflowers in the Sweet Seeds catalog: a third-generation line that turns the much-loved Green Poison clone into a plant that blooms on its own and finishes in about 8 weeks from germination.

The breeder built it around flavor first. After the initial cross with Big Devil #2 Auto, the hybrid went back to the original Green Poison clone twice so that its sweet, fruity nose and soft Skunk background would come through in every seed.

Plants stay manageable at 60–100 cm (24–39 in), which makes them easy to hide on a balcony or squeeze into a small tent. Despite the modest size, flower and resin production are generous: indoor runs can deliver 400–550 g/m² (1.31–1.80 oz/ft²), and outdoor plants yield 35–200 g (1.2–7.1 oz) per plant.

With 15–20% THC and around 0.6% CBD, the effect is potent and lasting rather than racy. It is a reliable choice for growers who want a quick, compact auto that still has a recognizable personality in the jar.

Lineage and Breeding of Green Poison Auto

The starting point was a selected plant of Big Devil #2 Auto (SWS20), a vigorous, productive autoflower in its own right. Sweet Seeds paired it with an elite clone of its photoperiod Green Poison (SWS14), a strain famous for fast flowering and a sticky, sweet profile.

Two further backcrosses to the Green Poison mother locked in the aroma and taste. The final genetic balance sits at 56.9% Indica, 40% Sativa and 3.1% Ruderalis, giving an Indica-leaning structure with chunky, resin-loaded flowers.

The nose opens sweet and fruity, almost like ripe berries in syrup. As the buds are broken up, a mild Skunk note rises, followed by a savory hint of aged cheese and a damp, earthy base.

On the palate the sweetness leads, with the Skunk and cheese tones arriving on the exhale. It tastes like a fruit compote served next to a wedge of sharp cheese: sweet and funky in the same bite.
