Cream Mandarine F1 Fast Version is the photoperiod answer to one of Sweet Seeds’ most requested autos. Growers loved the citrus character of Cream Mandarine Auto but wanted control over plant size and veg time, so the breeder built a feminized photoperiod version that flowers in about 7 weeks indoors while keeping that sweet-and-sour mandarin profile front and center.

It grows with real vigor and the frame of a balanced indica-sativa hybrid, filling out into big, compact buds that are loaded with aromatic resin. THC is listed at 18–22%, with CBD around 0.9%, a little higher than many modern THC-focused hybrids.

Production is solid: 450–600 g/m² (1.47–1.97 oz/ft²) indoors and 400–600 g/plant (14.1–21.2 oz/plant) outdoors. The breeder also lists a 2nd Prize in the Indica Indoor category at the II Copa del Rey in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2016.

Cream Mandarine F1 Fast Version Lineage

The starting point was Cream Mandarine Auto (SWS29), one of the classic Sweet Seeds autoflowers. The breeder selected its strongest genetic lines and crossed them with an elite clone of Diesel ancestry chosen for its aromatic mandarin-orange tones.

That cross did two jobs at once. It removed the autoflowering trait of the original, turning the offspring into photoperiod-dependent plants, and it reinforced the citrus side of the aroma. The variety code is SWS50 and the genetic split is 60% Indica and 40% Sativa.

As part of the F1 Fast Version line, it belongs to a family of early-flowering F1 hybrids. Autoflowering genetics sit in its background, yet the plants behave like a regular photoperiod: they keep growing under long days and only start to bloom on a 12/12 schedule. It is not an autoflower, and it should be grown like any other photoperiod strain.

The aroma opens with fresh-peeled mandarin and broader citrus, sweet at first and then tangy, with a sweet-and-sour snap that keeps it lively. Beneath the fruit, a rich earthy, humus-like layer adds weight and depth.

Growing Cream Mandarine F1 Fast Version Indoors and Outdoors

Indoors, give it 18/6 during vegetative growth and switch to 12/12 when the plants reach roughly half of the final height you want; plants commonly stretch during the first weeks of flowering. With around 7 weeks of bloom, a short veg keeps the full cycle compact. The vigorous, branchy frame responds well to topping and a SCROG net, which turns the canopy into an even layer of compact colas.

Because the buds are big and dense, airflow matters. Thin out inner growth that will never see much light, keep fans moving air through the canopy and keep humidity lower in late bloom to protect the heavy colas.

Outdoors, the plants follow the natural season and start flowering as nights lengthen. The short bloom means an earlier harvest than conventional photoperiod hybrids, which helps in regions with wet or cool falls. Rich, well-draining soil, full sun and consistent watering put the 400–600 g/plant (14.1–21.2 oz/plant) range within reach.
