Pamir Gold traces back to the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan in the western Himalayas, a region called the roof of the world, with peaks rising to about 7,500 m (24,600 ft). Dutch Passion spent several years selecting this landrace-based hybrid in the Swiss Alps before producing seed in the Netherlands, creating one of the toughest outdoor strains in its catalog.

She is one of Dutch Passion’s two High Altitude varieties alongside Snow Bud, and an Indica-dominant hybrid built to shrug off cold, rain and big swings between day and night temperatures. Despite heavy, fist-thick colas, the risk of mold and bud rot is very low.

Outdoors she grows to 150-250 cm (59-98 in) and well-developed plants yield around 250-500 g (8.8-17.6 oz) each. Indoors, expect about 400 g/m² (1.31 oz/ft²) after a short 7-8 week bloom. THC is rated high.

Flavor, Effects, and Highland Character

The aroma is complex and hard to compare: sweet and lightly fruity, with floral and spicy layers. Some phenotypes smell earthier, others more sour and chemical. The taste is sweet and earthy with hints of lemon and pear, sometimes with a sour twist that recalls an orchard in bloom. Subtle, refined and a treat for outdoor connoisseurs.

The high is of medium strength and builds gradually instead of peaking. It starts in the body with a calm sense of well-being and physical relaxation that can drift into a gentle couch-lock. On the mental side, a slightly euphoric head rush adds a little energy and helps thoughts flow, making it pleasant for creative moods. It suits the morning, afternoon or evening.

Growing Pamir Gold Feminized Seeds Outdoors

Pamir Gold was developed for outdoor growing and thrives on hillsides, at 1,000-2,000 m (3,280-6,560 ft) in the mountains, or in wet, cold climates at sea level. She is easy for beginners: no special feeding schedule or training is needed. Give her a sunny spot and she does the rest, earning her place as an ideal guerrilla plant.

Flowering takes 7-9 weeks. In a stable indoor room or a sunny outdoor climate most plants are ready in 7-8 weeks, while cold or changeable weather can stretch bloom to around 10 weeks. Even in poor conditions she keeps going, with buds getting fuller and harder over time. Guerrilla plants typically give 50-200 g (1.8-7.1 oz) each, depending on veg time, weather and hours of sun.

The structure is bushy and Indica-like with limited stretch, short to medium internodes and slimmer Sativa-style leaves in bloom. Only small leaves surround the flowers, so trimming is fast and there is less dead foliage to trap moisture. The towers of buds may need support late in flowering.

Start her indoors for a few weeks so she goes out with an established root system; germinating in the open is not advised for guerrilla grows. In pots she prefers airy containers such as fabric pots or air pots to keep roots healthy. A sheltered but breezy spot builds stronger branches to carry those heavy colas.
