GG4 Auto is the fast, automatic version of Barney’s Farm’s famously sticky GG4. The breeder crossed GG4 with its next-generation BF Super Auto #1, creating a 55% Indica / 45% Sativa autoflower with 26% THC that belongs to the Autoflowering Cali Collection.

This is a potent plant with a reputation to match. Barney’s Farm warns that it is not meant for beginners, as the effect is hard-hitting and can glue you to the spot. Growers, on the other hand, get a big, vigorous auto that finishes in only 70–75 days.

Indoors, plants reach 80–100 cm (31–39 in) and yield up to 500–600 g/m² (1.64–1.97 oz/ft²). Outdoors they grow to 100–130 cm (39–51 in) and deliver around 230–300 g/plant (8.1–10.6 oz/plant) each.

Growing GG4 Auto Indoors and Outdoors

No 12/12 switch is needed. Keep the light at 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest. Start in the final container, about 11–15 liters (3–4 gallons), to give roots room right away.

Indoors, plants reach 80–100 cm (31–39 in). Early tie-down training opens up the dense canopy, and some light defoliation around week four helps air reach the inner bud sites. The buds become very resinous and tight, so keep relative humidity moderate in the last weeks.

Outdoors, GG4 Auto grows to 100–130 cm (39–51 in) and produces 230–300 g/plant (8.1–10.6 oz/plant). A sunny location with good drainage brings the most out of the plant, and the 70–75 day cycle fits easily into short summers.
