S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious Auto is the autoflowering version of one of Sweet Seeds’ signature indicas, S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious S1 (SWS02). It packs dense, resin-loaded buds, a pungent sweet aroma and a deeply relaxing finish into a plant that completes its cycle in about 8 weeks from germination.
With 86% indica genetics, it stays short and sturdy at 40–90 cm (16–35 in), which makes it easy to fit into small tents, balconies and discreet garden corners. Indoors it returns 400–500 g/m² (1.31–1.64 oz/ft²), a strong figure for such a compact plant.
The breeder points to fast flowering, strong effect and superb hybrid vigor. With 18% THC and 1.4% CBD, it suits growers who want a classic Afgani-style indica without the long wait.
Lineage: The Autoflowering S.A.D.
This third-generation auto comes from crossing the breeder’s top second-generation autoflowering lines with S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious S1. The photoperiod parent is known for its heavy resin and sweet Afghan character; the automatic side brings speed and a small footprint.
The data sheet lists 86% indica, 10.9% sativa and 3.1% ruderalis. Sweet Seeds later used this same line to bring autoflowering genes into other strains, including Sweet Amnesia Haze XL Auto.
Aroma, Flavor and Effect
Expect a pungent, sweet nose with earthy tones, spice and a warm musky depth typical of Afghan genetics. The smoke is smooth and rich, with sweetness up front and spicy, musky notes lingering after the exhale.
The effect is heavy-bodied and contented: physically relaxing with a happy, mellow mood on top. It fits evenings, movies and quiet weekends better than busy mornings.
Growing S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious Auto Indoors and Outdoors
Indoors, run 18/6 or 20/4 from start to finish; no light switch is needed because the plant flowers on its own. Sow in the final container, 7–11 L (2–3 gal) is plenty for this compact auto, and keep the canopy even with light LST. Its short stature makes it ideal for a sea of green with several plants per square meter.
Outdoors, choose a warm, sunny position and a fertile, well-drained soil. Each plant can give 40–100 g/plant (1.4–3.5 oz/plant) in about 8 weeks from germination, and its small size keeps it discreet. Dense indica buds dislike long wet spells, so space plants for airflow.
Keep feeding moderate, avoid overwatering in the first weeks and harvest when the trichomes turn cloudy with some amber for a fuller body effect.
